What should I wear?Fitted shirts and leggings or shorts are ideal. For safety on the apparatus avoid hanging ties and loose, flowy garments. We ask everyone to wear clean socks. Grip Socks are best for traction on the apparatus, we have loaners and we sell them in our retail shop if you need a pair. If you have hair that falls in your eyes, please tie it back. A light jacket or wrap can be nice to warm up.

What if I have an old injury or chronic pain?"I have back pain/sciatica/ruptured or bulging disc, arthritis, a clicking knee, a stiff hip, a cranky neck, a sore shoulder... is Pilates safe for me to do?" If you are in acute pain or recently injured please consult with your healthcare provider. Our teachers are experienced and will adapt the exercises to your needs so you can exercise safely. Pilates exercises are designed to improve posture, circulation and coordination, which can help alleviate physical pain and distress. There are hundreds of exercises to choose from, as well as countless modifications, so we can develop a personalized full-body workout that helps your body to heal.

Where can I park my car? There is metered street parking all around the neighborhood. We recommend $3 hour parking at Stadium Place Parking just a few blocks away (on the corner S. King/Occidental, right by Quality Athletics sport bar). If you want to ditch the car, the Seattle Street Car’s First Hill Line stops just a block away, and King Street Station and the Pioneer Square Tunnel are also an easy walk from our door. You can ride your bike and get an extra burst of cardio in your day! For more options on parking check this handy link for affordable parking lots.
